What can I achieve with this product - Silicone RTV?
Silicone RTV (silicone rubber) is used to make flexible moulds, by casting or brushing, in order to reproduce objects and shapes. Flexible cast molds can be obtained from RTV silicone (silicone rubber):
plaster (stacks, decorative shapes)
wax (nunta- baptism candle moulds, decorative candle moulds)
cement (Pavel moulds, curb moulds, fence moulds, concrete fingerprint moulds)
resin (moulds decorative objects, magnet moulds refrigerator, molds functional objects, etc.)
Why pick RTV 2 Platinum silicone?
Economic use - It is the most stable polymer available to date, offering a special reliability combined with a long period of use, advantages that are obtained at advantageous production costs.
No flammable substances or toxic solvents. It is vulcanized at room temperature by removing the necessary costs for high temperature vulcanization (oven).
Versatil in Applications - It is ideal to pour forms of wax, plaster, cement, polyurethane resins, epoxy resins, polyester and other plastic parts. accurately reproduces the details to be copied to micron level (2 microns).
Long resistance - provides the best resistance / time ratio in both normal and extreme conditions. The Silicone properties remain virtually unchanged in the temperature range - 100 and + 250 C These properties are not affected by ultraviolet light or ozone. Silicone doesn't propagate fire, it doesn't maintain burning, and it doesn't release toxic substances. Silicone resists acids, bases, solvents, chemicals, oils and water.
All these characteristics make RTV2 Silicone suitable for flexible moulds regardless of the model to be reproduced or the material to be poured into that mould.
