Zhermack RTV Condensation Silicone ZC 20- 120 - KIT 1.05 Kg / 5.25 kg / 21 Kg (Baseline + Laser)
ZC 20-120 RTV is a condensing silicone used to make flexible moulds. Mats made of this type of silicone are suitable for a wide range of applications, from pouring light materials such as wax or paraffin to plaster cement or resins.
Areas of silicone use - Zhermack ZC 20-120 RTV Condensation
Silicone condensation is used to make flexible moulds in which you can pour wax (candles), soap, plaster (various decorative objects, radars), resins (decorative objects, functional parts), cement (decorative objects, garden), etc.
The condensation Silicone is used to make flexible moulds at which dimensional stability is not the highest priority (prone to contraction in time). Mats made of condensation silicone have a lifetime of several years and then lose elasticity. If you want to achieve a dimensional stable mould (variation 0.01%), which can withstand over time (so-called "library moulds") or which can withstand high temperature (up to 250 -300 C), choose an ADITIE / PLATIN RTV2 silicone (e.g. ZA 13 / ZA 22 / HT 33).
Silicone Conservation - Zhermack ZC 20-12 RTV Condensation
Silicone ZC 20-120 condensation is guaranteed for a period of 12 months if correctly stored at a temperature between 5 ° - 27 ° C (41 ° - 80 ° F). Close the containers thoroughly after use and do not reverse the caps from the 2 containers, base and catalyst.
Instructions for use - Silicone Zhermack ZC 20-120 RTV Condensation.
The two components, base and catalyst, mix in proportion 100: 5, mix well and pour over the model to be reproduced. Vulcanization is achieved at ambient temperature (20 -23 C0) in about 16 - 24 hours.
Preparation and application
Mix the components until uniform and weigh the base and ZC 120 hardener at a ratio of 100:5.
Mix thoroughly for 2–3 minutes. At 23 °C, the specified working time with ZC 120 is approximately 90 minutes.
Allow to cure before demoulding; with ZC 120, the data sheet specifies 24–36 hours at 23 °C, depending on air humidity.
Do not confuse the ZC 120 hardener's times with those of ZC 45. Close containers and do not swap their lids.
Consult the safety data sheet and batch label before use.
