Read the full descriptionResin COLTECH E4260, is a polyurethane resin, two-component (A + B), solvent-free, with Shore A = 60, used for pouring flexible / elastic parts, achievement Concrete print stands or achievement flexible moulds, (recommended for cement casting).
Most popular applications of polyurethane resin COLETCH E4260 are:
Most popular applications for polyurethane resin COLTECH E4260 are: pouring Flexible partsmaking concrete print stands or making large flexible moulds for cement casting .
When you create a flexible resin mould COLTECH E4260, prior to casting, check that the surface of the model (copy / master model) is free of any moisture. The maximum moisture content of the surface shall not exceed 4%.
Prototype items made of wet gypsum, clay or clay must be placed in an oven to remove all moisture. If this is not possible, use of a addition silicone for the production of the mould.
If the copying object is porous (clay, gypsum, concrete, wood, etc.), it needs a treatment to seal pores, which can be achieved with polyvinyl alcohol - PVA. Depending on the surface porosity, a second or third layer of polyvinyl alcohol may be required.
After sealing the pores before applying polyurethane resin COLTECH E4260, a liquid demoulding agent should be applied (e.g.. G-Wax 200L, ADSE ) to avoid sticking the mould to the prototype / model object to be copied.
Apply the first layer of resin COLTECH E4260 with a brush on the surface of the model to avoid forming air bubbles. After 15-30 min can be poured over the brush layer.
Optionally when you pour parts or make flexible moulds, the E4260 polyurethane resin can be subjected to a process of vacuum disaeration.
Working time at 20C is cca.15 minutes. curing of polyurethane resin cast products COLTECH E4260 is achieved in about 24-36 hours, but the final properties of the object / spot are obtained after about 7 days.
The working / application temperature must be in the range of 15... 30C, with the mention that in jails below 20C, the application time and time of vulcanization increase, and at temperatures above 20C, the working time and time of vulcanization significantly shrink.
Note and mixed polyurethane resin COLTECH E4260. A larger amount of resin leads to a more generous exothermic reaction (heat release) and shortened working time.
Polyurethane resin COLTECH E4260 is also influenced by environmental humidity. At high values (high humidity, e.g. a rainy day) working time with polyurethane resin COLTECHE4260 It shortens, and on the surface of the molten spot (especially on the free areas that come in contact with air) there are "basics."
For more technical details about this type of polyurethane resin please consult the table "Specifications".
It is important to note that when using a mould made of flexible polyurethane, it is necessary that at each use of the mould, inside the mould, a demoulding agent be applied.
If you pour plaster or cement parts (aggregates that also contain water), the most popular removal agent is the decofrol. If the polyurethane is poured into the resin, then a liquid wax-based demoulding agent is recommended (eg. G-Wax 200L, ADSE ).
IMPORTANT: Do not use any oil as a demoulding agent. It will inflate and deform polyurethane moulds. (This advice is also true for the molds made of RTV silicone).
Before use, mix the 2 components A and B separately The mixing ratio is specified in the technical chart. Mix for 2 min, manual or with a low speed mechanical mixer.
The mixing of components must be performed very well until the mixture becomes completely homogeneous, with special care for the walls and the bottom of the bucket. After initial mixing of the two components, transfer the mixture into a clean container and mix again for 1 minute to ensure that the components have been well homogenised.
The galleries should be kept in dry and cool rooms for up to 9 months. Protect material against moisture and direct sunlight. Storage temperature: 15C - 30C.
Products must remain in their original, unopened containers, bearing the manufacturer's name, product name, batch number and safety labels.
Secure good ventilation, contain isocyanates. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Please study the material security data sheet. FOR PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY.
Consult the safety data sheet and batch label before use.

Mă așteptam să fie mai puțin vâscoasă. Este de culoare gri nu albastru. A venit împachetată foarte bine. Pentru ce îmi trebuie mie este perfectă ca și duritate.
