Multicast 12 - KIT (Basis + Retarder - 2 kg / 10 kg / 20Kg / 60Kg / 400Kg)
resin Multicast 12 is a polyurethane resin, two-component used to pour decorative or functional objects. It is also known as "casting resin" or "liquid plastic."
When to choose Multicast resin 12
The Multicast (1,2,6,12,15) breeds generally have a number of common elements (bicomponents, blending 100: 100, characteristics, price), differentiation between these types of resins makes it the working time and the demoulding time.
We recommend the Multicast 12 resin for casting of parts with a thickness of not more than 12 cm, with a useful casting time of about 10-12 minutes and with possibility of demoulding in about 3-4 hours. Note that it is the most "generous" resin in the range, both as casting time (10-12 minutes) and as release time (3-4 hours). It is a good choice when you want to pour objects with a generous thickness of 12-15 cm, and when dimensional stability is very important. It's a good choice for functional objects such as industrial parts, tools, calapoads.
For more technical details about this type of resin please refer to the table "Specifications."
Instructions for use of Multicast 12 polyurethane resin
resin Multicast 12 is mixed together with the ISO 2 catalyst, in equal proportion, 100 base parts: 100 hardening parts (mixing is made based on weight parts, weigh the 2 substances).
After weighing the two components, mix well and pour. After hardening a white-ivory object is obtained with the appearance of plastic injected.
resin Multicast 12 has a low exothermic reaction, but it is recommended that for casting parts that exceed 5 to 10 mm in thickness, mix with mineral filler - Filler B (see fillers category).
When adding filler (or dye), in order not to reduce working time, it is recommended that the filler / dye be brought before mixing the 2 components (base and hardening). Weigh the 2 components (base and hardening) into 2 different containers. Add the amount of filler / dye to each and mix. Then the contents of the 2 containers mix together and pour. The working time starts to run only when the two components (base and catalyst) come into contact.
Preparation and application
Mix the Multicast resin and ISO 2 hardener separately until uniform before weighing.
Weigh 100 parts resin and 100 parts ISO 2. Observe the times specific to the Multicast 1, 2, 6 or 12 version.
Mineral filler B is optional and changes viscosity, processing times and mechanical properties; the data sheet specifies up to 350 parts and recommends it for thicknesses above 5 mm.
Do not use the times and properties of the unfilled mixture as values for the filled mixture.
Keep materials in their original, tightly closed containers at 15–25 °C.
Consult the safety data sheet and batch label before use.

Am folosit aceasta rasina in matrite mici. Sunt foarte multumita, se intareste repede. Dupa cateva ore am lipit obiectele scoase din matrite pe cutii.
