Polyurethane resin monocomponent G8 Super, is a protective layer, UV resistant (which does not freeze over time and does not contain an additional UV light absorber). G8 Super applies in thin layers and hardens with moisture after solvent release. It has good resistance to all normal chemicals and cleaning substances. Seal the wood and protect molded surfaces with epoxy resin. 

Polyurethane resin applications, transartence, UV, G8 Super:

• Generic applications - transparent layer, without yellowing, for wood, metal and plastics, solvent resistant.
• Wood seals - creates a hard, rigid, protective and sealing surface that does not turn white (UV resistance). 
• Improve epoxy surfaces - improves UV resistance of epoxy surfaces. (ex. Protection layer for moulded tables with epoxy resin - "River Table")
• Improves resistance of polyurethane coatings - Ex. The surfaces covered with ESTOVOSS, subjected to intense stress, can be significantly improved if after applying Estovoss apply in the shoulders 4-24 hours G8 Super + increases and resistance to chemicals.

* * * The adherence to wood, concrete and polished polyester products is excellent, to metal and to reasonable glass. Super G8 hardens fast. It's not sticky after about 2 to 4 hours. The surface is very resistant to impact, hard and durable. G8 Super has good weather resistance and offers a long-lasting glossy surface. For complete mechanical and chemical resistance, it shall be allowed to be strengthened for at least 7 days at 20 ° C. G8 Super is chemically resistant against low concentrations of acids and alkali at room temperature.

Use of polyurethane resin, transartenta, UV, G8 Super:

The surface shall be clean, dry and free of fat. Wood must have a relative moisture content of max. 15% It is recommended that the surfaces be well polished. The existing paint should be completely removed. 

Consumption per layer is 200 to 300 ml / m ². G8 Super can be applied with a brush or spray gun (using breath mask). To ensure good curing, the applied quantity must not exceed 250 ml / m2 depending on the porosity of the substrate. 

On porous surfaces it is recommended that the first layer of G8 Super be diluted 50% with diluents (THINNER POLYURETHANE) and the second layer by 25%. On very dense surfaces a dilution of not more than 50% is recommended. 

However, to obtain a hard and chemically resistant film, it is necessary to apply min. 3 layers of G8 Super without adding diluents. Each layer may be applied when the previous layer is dry. Drying time depends on working temperature and air humidity. At an ambient temperature of 20 ° C the drying time is 2- 4 hours. When additional layers are applied after those 2-4 hours, the surface shall be polished. 

G8 Super can be pigmented with the addition of max. 5% of PUR PIGMENT PASTE however, pigmentation is recommended only in exceptional cases. Adding pigment will reduce mechanical strength, surface gloss and shelf life. Working time will also be reduced. 

An anti-slip surface is ensured by adding 5% by weight of filler - NO SLIP POWDER R1, which is mixed in G8 Super prior to application. 

Protection measures in the use of polyurethane resin, G8 Super:

Secure good ventilation. Keep out of reach of children, preferably in a cool, well ventilated place. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Use the respiratory protection mask when applying. G8 Super should not be used inside because of its solvent content.
