Read the full descriptionG4 PRIMER is a monocomponent polyurethane resin with solvent content. The hardening is done by absorbing moisture from the air. G4 Primer is applied in a thin layer, by brushing and is obtained a surface resistant to wear, moisture and a number of chemical agents (dilute acids and bases). Maximum properties are obtained after at least 7 days at 20 ° C and 75% air humidity.
G4 PRIMER has excellent adhesion to wood, concrete and metal, as long as the surface is free of fat, dry, clean and with open voids (wood and concrete). Prior grinding of metal surfaces is recommended. G4 PRIMER does not apply to bitumen and other non-solvent resistant surfaces.
G4 PRIMER is used as primer and sealing for porous surfaces such as concrete, plaster, plaster and masonry. Product G4 Primer seal and protect these moisture materialsA. G4 PRIMER is an excellent adhesive layer on glass fiber / GRP, wood, concrete, metal for subsequent application of single component polyurethane coating products (Ex. FLEXOVOSS). G4 Primer can be used as a binder for mortar and wood repair compounds.
G4 PRIMER can be applied using a brush, roller or spray gun (respiratory mask should be used). The consumption shall not exceed 250 ml / m ² on absorbent surfaces and 100 ml / m ² on non-absorbent surfaces in order to ensure proper curing and to prevent the formation of basics from solvent. Balds should be avoided.
On slightly porous or dense surfaces it is recommended to apply a layer of primer with diluted G4 primer (polyurethane diluent). The last layer must always be applied without diluents. G4 PRIMER should always be used in well-ventilated areas with temperatures above 5 ° C.
The surface to be covered shall be free of fat, dry and clean. Moisture in the substrate will cause the formation of "basics' and should be avoided. Unfixed parts and old layers shall be carefully removed prior to application.
The surface shall be porous / rough to ensure good adhesion. The product will not have adhesion to the "glass" cement. The concrete / freshly poured sheet surfaces shall be left for at least 28 days to dry before being covered with G4 Primer. The first coating with G4 Primer should be applied with a brush / brush. A roll may be used for additional layers. Depending on the surface absorption, use a maximum amount of 200 ml / m ² for first coating. The following coating or two coatings need 150 ml / m2 per layer. Allow each layer to be strengthened for 2 to 4 hours until G4 is still slightly sticky.
Due to its excellent adhesion G4 Primer product is used as a primer / primer in the following situations:
G4 Primer can be applied as a substrate on the following materials: concrete (pools), plaster, wood (boats) and metal. Wood surfaces be finished with dry abrasives, of 80-120 granulation. Metallic surfaces be sandblasting (SA 2 ½) or hand sandpaper. Concrete surfaces and plaster must be porous. If necessary, the surface shall be rough. E rPolyesters with fiberglass may be applied after a drying period of 0.5 to 4 hours. In this range you will achieve the best grip.
For concrete, wood and metal surfaces to be covered with a polyurethane coating (e.g. FLEXOVOSS) G4 PRIMER can be used as a primer and as a barrier against ground moisture. Usually only a start of G4 Primer is required, but it needs to be properly strengthened. The required drying time shall be at least 6 to 8 hours and maximum 12 hours. The G4 surface should remain only slightly sticky, otherwise it will cause blisters / blisters to form in the coating layer (Ex. FLEXOVOSS).
The cracks and damage to the concrete can be filled with a mixture of sand and G4 Primer. Damaged areas are cleaned and the parts detached are removed. The area that needs to be repaired is well embedded with G4 Primer, but without creating baltoac. The mortar repair component can be made according to the following recipe: from 10 to 15 parts of weight (weighs) of G4 Primer and from 85 to 90 parts of dry sand weight with a grain range of 0.7 to 1.2 mm. The size of the granules will allow appropriate evaporation of solvents and access to air humidity if maximum thickness of 1 cm is maintained at a single stage.
The working time is about 20 min. If necessary, the filling should be divided into several stages. Each layer not exceeding 1 cm may be filled within 12 to 24 hours. The layers of up to 8 cm thickness of a single stage may be applied by adding approx. 10 parts of cement weight to the mixture. The repair shall be allowed to be reinforced for at least one day before being sealed with G4 Primer.
G4 Primer can be used to fill the cracks and holes in wood. The free components shall be removed and the surface cleaned. The affected area should be well impregnated with G4. The wood repair component can be made from G4 and sawdust. The mixture must no longer flow. With this mixture of sawdust and G4 primer will be filled wood cracks. Even if the same color sawdust is used, it will not be possible to fully match the wood color. The curing time depends on the depth of filling and the moisture in the wood. The surface will thicken faster than the inside.
Secure good ventilation. Do not apply in closed spaces and wear a respiratory mask when applying. Keep out of reach of children, preferably in a cool, well ventilated place. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Note: The safety card can be requested by phone / email.
The hardening times for G4 Primer depend on surface absorption capacity, temperature, air ventilation and soil humidity. G4 Primer is strengthened by the release of solvents and in the second stage by its reaction with moisture from air and soil. During winter, curing the G4 Primer primer primer can take longer for or may not strengthen due to temperatures close to the freezing point (and lack of moisture). In this case, the waiting time between the layers extends. When G4 Primer is used as a primer for glass fibre (GRP) laminates, the drying time must always be between 0.5 and 4 hours. For use as a primer for single component polyurethane coatings, the G4 Primer layer should be only slightly sticky before the final layer can be applied. If we apply 2 layers of G4 Primer, we must leave a minimum of 6 hours between them.

Super produs. Folosit pentru impermeabilizarea bustenilor unei case stil canadian.
Produs excelent pentru impermeabilizarea lemnului unei cabane.
Super,cei mai buni! Multumit
