FlexoVoss K6S - semi-rigid resin

Polyurethane resin, elastic (semi-rigid) - FLEXOVOSS K6S

resin FlexoVoss K6S, is a polyurethane resin, two-component (a + b), solvent-free, used for casting semi-rigid parts.

Polyurethane resin applications, FLEXOVOSS K6S, semi-rigid:

• Flexible / semi-rigid moulds - molding of molds for the reconstructed stone, cement panels, stone fingerprinting. 
• Incapsulation - encapsulation for different electric modules in polyurethane resin
• Casting parts - making parts by casting suitable for massaging (shore A 90, Shore D 50) ex-sole vibrocompactor, car loops.
• Adhesive - usable for fixing or sticking together different components. The product remains permanently elastic.
• Semielastic protective layer - can be applied with a pistol (4 mm diuza at 6 bar) to obtain a semi-elastic protective layer. The application requires protecting the airways with a mask during application.

Polyurethane resin, FLEXOVOSS K6S, semi-rigid:

Resuspend the 2 components, Flexovoss Base and FlexoVoss hardening before use. Mix the 2 components according to the proportion of mixing specified in the technical chart (based on weight parts, i.e. by weighing or volume parts, i.e. by measuring in graduated glasses).

Working time at 20 ° C is about 30 minutes. The curing of the cast products from the polyurethane resin Vascovoss is made in about 12- 24 hours, but the final properties of the object / marker are obtained after about 7 days.

The working / application temperature must be in the range of 5... 30 C, with the mention that in prisons below 20 C, the application time and the time of vulcanisation increase, and at temperatures above 20 C, the working time and the time of vulcanization considerably shrink.

Note also the mixed amount of FlexoVoss polyurethane resin. A higher amount of resin leads to a more generous exothermic reaction (heat release) and shortening the working time.

FlexoVoss polyurethane resin is also influenced by environmental humidity. At high values (high humidity, e.g., a rainy day) the working time with FlexoVoss polyurethane resin is shortened, and on the surface of the molten spot (especially on free areas that come in contact with air) appear "basics."

The specific consumption for Flexovoss K6S is 1.5 kg / L for casting and 1.5 kg / m2 for brush thickness of about 1 mm / layer.

When casting, FlexoVoss polyurethane resin requires application of a demoulding agent because it has adhesive properties.
