SphereCell PE

SphereCel PE is a smooth textile material of fine polyester fibreMade by combining polyester fibres with thermoplastic microspheres.

The existence of perforations facilitates faster saturation of SphereCel PE material with lamination resin. Perforations in SphereCel PE are made according to a model and size that allows minimal accumulation of resin.

SphereCel PE is a core material, laminable based on non-woven polyester fibre. The material absorbs resin faster than similar non-woven materials based on polyester. When impregnated with resin, the material becomes soft, allowing you to benefit from the typical properties of this material (smooth edges, equalization of overlaps). 
To achieve an optimal connection between the reinforcement layers and the basic material, we recommend that you process the laminate in a single stage ("wet-pe- wet").
Using SphereCell PE material does not require a different process than making compositions / laminates through the open mould process.
Compatible with all common resin types including polyester, vinyl ester, phenolic and epoxy.
SphereCel ® GF can be cut to size with scissors and a knife as well as broken manually.
We recommend that you use the lower perforation side (the gel layer).
